Today’s Reading 2 Corinthians 1-13

***Note***

We are in Day 16 of a 40 day read through the New Testament challenge today. The first 21 days of readings will be listed at the end of this post

***End Note ***

Do I believe it? this question is one I must wrestle with every day. I thought of it this morning as I was reading through today’s section of the New Testament. Part of Paul’s letter to the people of Corinth is a statement that God has had to remind him that God’s grace is enough for him.

If it is enough for Paul and all that Paul had been through in his life it surely is enough for me. Yet, I often feel as if I battle that very notion. I feel as if I need more. I need more accolades from the world. I need more money or more time. I just need more.

Today’s reading was a humbling one for me. I am reminded very simply that I have all I need and all I must simply do now is trust. So today as my battered body starts another day that will be my battle cry, “Your Grace is enough!”
